Anti-Plagiarism Policy

The Eduweb Journal maintains a strong commitment to academic integrity and ethics in scientific publishing. To ensure the originality of the manuscripts evaluated and published, the journal adopts a strict anti-plagiarism policy that aligns with the best international practices in editorial ethics.

All authors submitting a manuscript to the Eduweb Journal must sign a declaration of originality, in which they certify that the article is entirely original, has not been previously published in any other journal or medium, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere simultaneously.

In addition, every manuscript undergoes a similarity verification process using Turnitin Similarity Check, a service provided through Crossref. This procedure identifies textual matches with other sources and determines the originality level of each submission.

The journal also uses Turnitin Originality/AI Writing Detection to evaluate potential indicators of content generated through artificial intelligence tools. This assessment ensures that manuscripts comply with the journal’s standards for responsible authorship and that AI-based writing systems are not used without proper disclosure.

If a high similarity index, evidence of plagiarism, or significant signs of undisclosed AI-generated content are detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected and the authors will be informed. In cases of partial plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or non-transparent use of AI tools, authors will be required to provide clarifications or corrections before the editorial process can proceed.

The Eduweb Journal, supported by University of Carabobo, promotes transparency and respect for copyright, ensuring that all published articles meet the highest standards of originality, reliability, and academic ethics.
